Visas

After registering, please wait for an invitation letter be sent to you (via e-mail from the national organizers), and attach it to your visa application. Please note that Chinese Embassy and Consulates do not accept visa applications by mail, so using a visa/travel agency is the usual way to apply. Below are links to two visa agencies:

Lodging

Conference venue: Jian Guo Hotel

Lodging costs will be approximately
  • Superior room: $100 +/- USD per night
  • Superior suite: $125 +/- USD per night
  • Executive room: $115 +/- USD per night
  • Executive suite: $145 +/- USD per night
The rates could change slightly, depending on currency conversion rate (at present 1USD = 8.25RMB).

We do NOT recommend making hotel reservations via the web. Please download and fill in the hotel reservation form, which should then be faxed directly to the hotel reservation department.

Tours

To join optional tours, please download and fill in the signup forms and send them with payment to the travel agency:

Availability of each tour is conteingent on at least 10 persons signing up.

Such travel agencies include: Round trip ticket to Shanghai from airlines might be $1200 USD from big cities on east coast or midwest of U.S. and $950 USD from big cities on west coast of U.S. Flying from smaller cities might cost $1400 USD.
Round trip ticket to Shanghai from travel agencies might be $900 USD from big cities on east coast or midwest of U.S. and $650 USD from big cities on west coast of U.S. Flying from smaller cities might cost $1000 USD.
